Rēken is a project that came about when I decided I to become an impromptu DJ. Not really but I did become obsessed with ripping records and altering the audio by changing the grooves in my copy records. Over time, I realized that a lot of people made these fake records and thought it would be cool to create a site/app were people could share their creations.

The project began as just a branding practice design that has slowly morphed into a social music sharing web application. Below shows the initial branding I made for the Rēken remix box and the first draft of the wireframes for the web app.
